Current sells network capacity and colocation space across four core products, each structured around how our customers actually buy and operate global infrastructure.
**Lit Capacity** — Managed wavelength services from 10G to 800G per wavelength, delivered as a fully managed optical circuit between two of our landing stations or points of presence. We handle provisioning, monitoring, and restoration; you receive a standard optical or Ethernet handoff. This is the fastest path to service and the most common product for carriers and enterprises who don’t need to own physical infrastructure outright.
**Dark Fiber / IRU** — A long-term indefeasible right of use over one or more dedicated fiber pairs on a named system, typically structured for 15 to 25 years. You own the right to light that fiber with your own equipment on your own schedule, at whatever wavelength count and data rate your own terminal equipment supports over the life of the agreement. This is the product hyperscale customers choose most often when they want full control over their own capacity growth curve without repeated renegotiation.
**Landing Station Colocation** — Rack space and power at any of our cable landing stations, letting you place routing, switching, or compute equipment physically adjacent to the cable head rather than backhauling to an inland facility. Available from single-rack increments up to dedicated private suites, with power density options up to high-density colocation for compute-heavy deployments.
**Private Cable Systems** — A build-to-suit subsea system engineered, constructed, and (optionally) operated exclusively for a single customer, typically a hyperscale cloud provider with sustained, predictable demand on a specific route. We manage the full lifecycle — route survey, permitting, manufacturing, lay, and ongoing maintenance — under a dedicated agreement, with the customer holding full ownership or a controlling capacity position depending on deal structure.
Most enterprise and carrier engagements start as a capacity conversation and evolve as requirements firm up — our capacity sales team works technical requirements (route, latency, diversity, ready-for-service date) alongside commercial structure from the first conversation, not as a separate later step.
